There are some people who hold a higher station (position) in life than others; the governor is higher than the mayor and the mayor is higher than the city clerk. The structure of our society makes it necessary to be this way. But when the city clerk and the governor stand before God on judgment day they will stand as equals. Our stance before God will not be determined by my status or what I have done, but only my position in Christ. We must stand in His righteousness or we will not stand at all.
